We see the faithfulness of God everyday. Sometimes, we just aren't aware of it. Each morning we wake up, God is displaying His faithfulness towards us. Lamentations 3:23 teaches us that each day God presents us with new mercies which is also an expression of his faithfulness towards us. God's faithfulness is inherit––meaning God does not have to try to be faithful, it is apart of who He is.

In Exodus 34:6, one of the attributes that God uses to describe himself is faithful. What greater endorsement do you need than the God of the universe telling you that He is faithful? We know that according to scripture that God cannot lie (Numbers 23:19), meaning we can take God at His word. Jesus demonstrated his faithfulness to us in this that while we were yet sinners, He died for us (Romans 5:8). In fact, 2 Timothy 2:13 teaches us that even when we are faithless, Jesus is so faithful and that He can't deny us because denying us would be to deny himself.
We have the awesome opportunity to be in relationship with a God that will always be there for us. God has demonstrated his faithfulness throughout the Bible:
For Abraham, God's faithfulness made him the father of many nations.
For Joseph, God's faithfulness allowed him to save an entire nation from a famine including his family.
For Daniel, God's faithfulness closed the mouths of the hungry lions.
For the the three Hebrew boys, God's faithfulness literally went through the fire with them.
God's faithfulness is incredible and undeniable. We should be grateful for a God who loves us more than we love ourselves. As always, stay rooted in God.
Verse of the Week:
